November 2022 Mini

Do you follow the Pixel Scrapper (now DigitalScrapbook.com) blog train each month? I generally try to at least take a peek at the contributions and download my favorites. This month I got quite a few goodies, but there were a couple where I hesitated to create an account in the designer's personal store or have the download link emailed to me - things like that. (I can be a bit stingy with my personal info at times - it's just a quirk of mine.) So I decided to create my own versions of some of the stuff I missed, just for fun. Then when I was done, I thought to myself - why not share it with you?


So here you go. This should coordinate pretty well with the other minis for this month's train. Help yourself if you like it. (Click on the preview to go to the download location.) There are 6 papers and 8 elements (plus one bonus element in an alternate version). I didn't bother making any solid papers, since there are plenty of those to be found in the blog train.

Please be sure to take a look at the bottom section (after Recent Posts) that I created in order to provide all of the information that visitors might need in order to get the most of my site. You will also find the email subscription form at the bottom of the page.

I would love to see what you make with any of my kits. There are definitely some galleries that don't mind if you post layouts (or photos of hybrid projects) using kits that are not from the connected store so long as you don't link to any products outside of their establishment. You could send me the gallery link to your layout using any of the methods mentioned in the above paragraph if you feel like sharing (or if emailing me, just attach it).

 

I conducted a poll about whether blog visitors were interested in seeing blog posts with sample layouts. The results were about 2/3 in favor and 1/3 against. So what I plan on doing in the future is to keep the posts with layouts separate and label them as such in the title. That way, those who are only interested in downloading new freebies can just delete the email notification (or skip past those blog posts when visiting) - but those who would like to see the layouts can still do so.

 

If you want, you can click on the little heart at the bottom of each post (or on the right side in the list of posts). (If it's filled in red, then you already clicked once and so it will remove your "like" if you click again, reverting to an outline of a heart.) If you never noticed this feature before, don't feel bad - neither did I! LOL

 

To be notified of new posts to this blog, feel free to subscribe. The form is at the bottom of the page. Once subscribed, be sure to check your spam folder periodically, or better yet, add tee.bee.or.not@blog.wixnotifications.com to your allowed senders and/or address book. That way you can rest assured you will actually see the messages when they come in.
